My Storytelling journey began in the Costume Department...
There's much to see here.
So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about me.
I hope you enjoy my site and take the time to get to know my stories
through the visuals I have created.
“Wardrobe is your armour, wear it with pride and transform your life.”
Every garment tells a story.
My journey began at the London International School of Fashion (LISOF).
There, studying under the guidance of highly-skilled fashion gurus, I majored in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Manufacture and Tailoring. On completion of my studies I was certified by LISOF, The London College of Arts and SACQA.
My first jobs wove experiences through merchandising and buying sending me to London.
There I was privileged to be head concession merchandiser for both Whistles and Karen Millen while producing and curating my own small couture range - Glynnis.
Working in the commercials production industry taught me how the psychology of retail translates into every facet of our lives — from our history through the present and ultimately to our futures.
The common thread throughout my career is a passion for the psychology of storytelling
opportunities from the transformation that comes with costuming;
whether poise and power or down trodden and forlorn with pity, every garment is as pivotal to the mood and character as each one’s motivation and dialogue.
Two decades’ in the world of work has afforded me the hybrid experience that comes with running both small and large teams on local and international jobs respectfully,
across a variety of long—and short form briefs.
From music videos and commercials to feature films, stills or fulfilling the role of a personal shopper, I never forget the questions I know my passion for this work answers:
If I told you clothing had magical powers would you believe me?
Would you open up your wardrobe everyday and cast a spell on the world using combinations of fabric strung together with will and divine intention?
Vision is authentic and has the power to be conveyed in how you walk, talk, and carry yourself but...long before you’ve even said a word,
the canvas of your story has already said so much.
Confidence in what you wear will give you power.
How will you craft your first impressions?
What's your story?
I look forward to hearing from you.
